Summary
This full-time Internal Sales role is an on-site position based in Bradford. The Internal Sales professional will handle inbound and outbound sales calls, respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on leads to convert opportunities into business. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with operations and logistics teams to ensure service delivery, and supporting customers with information on pricing, schedules, and transport options. The role also involves building and nurturing strong customer relationships, supporting account management activities, and contributing to sales reports and forecasts. The individual will work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent customer satisfaction and support continuous improvement in sales processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update customer information
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks and order processing
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their freight needs
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of shipments
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within a logistics or transport environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Fluency in English is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
