Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Coffee Shop Barista to join our vibrant team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and overseeing daily operations during their shift.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, smoothies, frappes and other refreshments in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment and work/ customer areas.
- Assist with stock management, including replenishing supplies and checking product freshness.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with serving customers and managing queues efficiently.
- ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety policies.

Skills
- 2 years Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role, with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques Essential
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable attitude towards customers.
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and oversee shift activities smoothly.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and supervise shifts confidently.
