Teaching Assistant Vacancy
Ditchling (St Margaret's) C.E. Primary and Nursery School is a popular, friendly, rural primary and nursery school with 244 children on roll, aged 2 - 11 years. We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support academic progress, working principally with children in Key Stage 2. We were judged ‘Good’ by OFSTED in 2017, with ‘Outstanding’ for Pupil development, behaviour and welfare. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative person with a passion for seeing children grow and develop. The position is for a Teaching Assistant (TA). Are you the person to join our great team?
Hours of work: 32.5 hrs per week for 39 weeks of the year.
Working pattern: TA Mon to Fri 8.30 – 15.30
Pay scale: £24,796 Full time equivalant (actual salary £21,940, 46 weeks paid per year of 52)
Contract type: permanent
Starting date: 2nd September 2026
Closing date: 26th June 2026 by 9am
Proposed interview date: 3rd July 2026
