Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals in Lumina Therapeutic Community settings. Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility issues and help them move around
- Monitor and administer medication as per care plans
- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Keep accurate records of care provided
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
-Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Light housekeeping duties such as tidying up and laundry
Requirements:
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with residents and team members
- Experience working in a care setting is preferred
- Basic IT skills to record information accurately
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions diligently
- Compassionate nature and empathy towards individuals needing care

Shift Patterns:
Early Shift: 7:30am - 14:45pm
Late Shift: 13:45pm - 22:00pm
Night Shift: 10pm - 8am

Pay: £12.30-£13.60 per hour
