Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic property manager/administrator to provide support to the businesses. Ideally you will have experience in both residential and commercial property but just one would be acceptable.
A good working knowledge of freehold and leasehold property would be an advantage. Accurate typing with a good sense of layout and presentation of letters and documentation. A good telephone manner and the ability to deal with clients / customers.
Duties
- Manage all administrative functions related to property management, including tenant communications and lease administration.
- Advise tenants of any works of a tenant responsibility and arrange for re-inspections as required.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and maintain excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to tenants as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and files for all properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolutions.
- Prepare reports on property performance and occupancy rates as required.
- Support the property management team in various tasks as needed.
- Follow up inspection of properties following any major works undertaken by contractors to confirm they have been undertaken to an acceptable standard.
- Responding to tenants in relation to general queries, including service charge
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent office skills, including data entry and document management.
- Outstanding phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining positive tenant relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving processes within the office environment.
