Job Summary
Due to continued growth, Elevate Cleaning Company is looking for reliable, professional Self-Employed Commercial Cleaners to work across Dewsbury and surrounding areas, including Batley, Mirfield, Thornhill and nearby communities.
Our work is predominantly within commercial offices and business premises, providing regular contracted cleaning services to maintain clean, hygienic and professional environments.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive and have excellent attention to detail, taking genuine pride in their work and consistently delivering the high standards our clients expect.
You will often work independently, following site-specific cleaning schedules and managing your time effectively to ensure every space is left clean, fresh and welcoming.
Duties
- Thorough cleaning of commercial offices, washrooms, kitchens, hallways, communal and staff areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and sanitising floors and surfaces
- Cleaning desks, office furniture and high-touch areas
- Cleaning skirting boards, internal glass and entrance areas
- Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling in line with health and safety procedures
- Restocking washroom and kitchen supplies, including soap, toilet paper and paper towels where required
- Following site-specific cleaning schedules and using appropriate cleaning products and equipment
- Checking areas to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures
- Identifying and promptly reporting any damage, maintenance issues or areas requiring additional attention
Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred. Applicants must:
- Be self-employed or willing to register as self-employed
- Have a valid DBS check
- Hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance
- Have the legal Right to Work in the UK and be able to provide supporting documentation
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Be able to work independently and maintain consistently high standards
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to follow site-specific cleaning schedules
- Be available for early morning and/or evening work
- Be able to travel to client sites within Dewsbury and surrounding areas
A driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous due to the location and working hours of some contracts.
