Brief Job Description:
Reports to: Area Manager and Directors
Deliver and ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and assessment and care for children aged 0-5 years.
To ensure that the Nursery is a safe environment for children, staff, and others.
Developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Area Manager and/or Directors.
To support the Senior Deputy Manager and Deputy Manager's for the efficient running of the Nursery and delivery of a high-quality service.
To ensure that the Nursery provides a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors.
To ensure the Nursery always meets Ofsted requirements.
To support and supervise nursery practitioners and assistants.
To work with other professionals in the local area for the benefit of children and families.
To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum.
Exchanging information about children’s progress and encouraging parents’ involvement.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the Nursery aims and objectives.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.
A minimum of 5 years recent experience, working in a Nursery setting in a Management Position.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted statutory guidance.
Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
Skills, Attributes and Personal Qualities:
Empathy and understanding of children under five.
Excellent verbal and communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organizational skills.
Calm and caring nature.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Able to work on own initiative.
Commitment to quality in all areas, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm.

Pay: £39,520.00-£45,448.00 per year
