We are the newest and hottest events and club venue in Norwich, CTRL Room,
We are seeking an energetic and engaging Street Promoter to join our dynamic marketing team! In this role, you will be the face of teh venue, connecting with the community and creating buzz around our live gigs, club nights and events. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive awareness, foster positive relationships, and generate excitement in busy public spaces. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your marketing expertise while gaining hands-on experience in a lively outdoor environment.
Hours will be majority Saturday night from 10pm until 3am, with potential for additional hours on Friday's and mid-week depending on business needs.
Due to the nature of the business and late night hours, only those 18+ can be considered for the role.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with pedestrians and passersby to promote the club and events
- Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, samples, or branded merchandise in high-traffic areas
- Gather feedback from potential customers and relay insights to the marketing team
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the venue in all interactions
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with different audiences
- Previous experience in marketing, customer service, or promotional roles is a plus but not required
- Outgoing personality with high energy and enthusiasm for engaging with the public
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around actively for extended periods in outdoor settings
- Reliable transportation or access to mobility options for traveling to and from the city centre
- A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Pay: £12.71 per hour
