We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team at Oakley Pharmacy in Oakley Vale, Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and excellent customer service within a busy community pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Managing prescription queries and assisting with the efficient running of the dispensary.
- Maintaining accurate patient medication records.
- Supporting stock management, ordering, and storage of medicines.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
- Assisting with pharmacy services and promoting healthy living initiatives where appropriate.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser (NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
Desirable Requirements
- Accredited Medicines Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
- Experience using pharmacy dispensing systems.
- Knowledge of NHS pharmacy services.
