Waste Operative
Grays RM20 4AL – Full time

As a Waste Operative, with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you'll do:

Collect and segregate general, plastic and cardboard waste across site.

Move and load cardboard pallets to the designated recycling and trailer areas.
-
Ensure waste is correctly baled, compacted, packaged and stored in line with regulations.

Coordinate waste collections with nominated suppliers and maintain all required documentation.

Complete pre-use equipment checks, report defects/H&S concerns and keep equipment and work areas safe and tidy.

Work proactively and independently or as part of a team, following all Health & Safety requirements.
What you'll bring:

High standards of cleanliness and professionalism, with a flexible, proactive approach to meeting service requirements.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Current FLT licence and good understanding of HSE requirements, with the ability to follow company, client and statutory policies.
