As a leader you are required to:
- Support and developing rich learning environments for children which focuses on children leading their own play and maximising and outdoor spaces effectively. Support the leadership and management of staff teams so they can develop and thrive
– Be a positive role model to other staff members ensuring delivery of high quality practice with passion with regards to meeting the individual needs of all children including those who require additional support for learning. Dealing with colleagues and parent issues as they arise.
- Support and actively promote the safety, security and well-being of all children, colleagues and visitors.
- Understand your role as a member of the management team in providing a high standard of care and education.
- Ensure excellent levels of customer service to all visitors.
- Keep up to date with the latest practice. You will be qualified to at least LEVEL 3 in Early Years and Education and ideally have 2 years or more experience in a senior practitioner’s role and be willing to undertake appropriate training to advance your qualification to leadership status.
- Have the ability to inspire, motivate and engage your team and build effective relationships with children, parents, colleagues and management alike.
You should have a passion for early years by engaging in personal development. You will be a solid, reliable support to the Nursery Manager ensuring day to day management is efficient and effective having sound knowledge of all Company policies, procedures and regulatory (PVG) requirements are maintained at all times. This role would suit an organised, self-motivated, passionate person who thrives in a nursery environment.
