Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure timely delivery of their favorite drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately using basic math skills
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock items as necessary to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or bartender is highly preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards in food and beverage handling
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for transactions and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts
