Job Summary
BRIK Construction Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to work across a variety of commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and construction projects throughout the UK. The successful candidate will support site teams in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a physically demanding role requiring a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to undertake a wide range of labouring duties on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradespeople and site management with day-to-day site activities.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and tools.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Carrying out site clearance and waste management duties.
- Assisting with demolition and strip-out works.
- Supporting the installation of building materials and fixtures.
- Receiving and distributing deliveries to the appropriate areas on site.
- Setting up and dismantling temporary protection and site welfare facilities.
- Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Reporting hazards, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Undertaking general labouring duties as instructed by site managers and supervisors.
- Travelling to various project locations as required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling and labour-intensive tasks.
- Previous construction or labouring experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Willingness to travel and work on sites across different locations.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Experience working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
