Overview
AFC Kingston Youth is seeking experienced and passionate football coaches to manage and develop teams from U7 through to U16, many of which compete in Division 1 leagues. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching sessions, managing Saturday match days, and supporting the technical, tactical, and personal development of young players in a positive and structured environment.
Training sessions take place on either Monday or Wednesday evenings, with matches played on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging weekly training sessions (Monday or Wednesday evenings)
- Manage and coach teams during Saturday match days
- Support the technical, tactical, and personal development of players
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club staff
- Uphold and promote the values and standards of AFC Kingston Youth
- Contribute to the overall development and culture of the club
- The role is to start in April/May ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification (UEFA C or equivalent)
- FA Emergency Aid Certificate
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
- Current and up-to-date FA DBS check
- Previous experience coaching youth football teams
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Passion for youth development and grassroots football
- Reliable, professional, and committed to player development
- Ability to work as part of a coaching team within a club structure
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
