The Beachcomber Café in St Anne's on Sea is an established local gem. Popular with dog walkers families alike, as the summer approaches we are expanding our team to cope with demand. We are a fully licenced Café with a diverse menu and offer special events for extra special occasions. We have a well established staff team and are looking for the right individual to be a part of our work family.
Job description
We require a Chef to work alongside an established team in our busy kitchen, covering 5 days a week, the hours will be predominantly day time between 8:30 and 5:00 work will involve occasional evening preparation for parties and will involve weekend work.
Duties include:
- Prepare all food items
- Cooking a large variety of meals fresh to order
- Operate standard kitchen equipment such as the grill and fryers
- Maintain a clean working environment whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Handle food and record all required information to comply with standards
Previous kitchen experience is required and the ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for food and cooking
- An eye for detail
- Be a strong teamwork
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have an understanding of what guests expect
