Due to continued growth, The Board Guy Edinburgh is looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team. This would be on a part-time basis, ideally two days a week.
We provide board management services for estate and letting agents across Edinburgh and the Lothians, handling the installation, maintenance and removal of ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’ boards. We pride ourselves on delivering a fast, professional and dependable service to our clients.
About the Role
This is a field-based role involving travel throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians. You'll work independently, managing your own workload while ensuring boards are installed and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing ‘For Sale’, ‘To Let’, ‘Sold’ and ‘Now Let’ boards at residential properties.
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs to existing boards.
- Removing boards when instructed by clients.
- Managing daily jobs using a smartphone app.
- Ensuring all installations are completed safely and professionally.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Keeping your company van, tools and materials organised and presentable.
- Representing the company professionally when working in residential areas.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- Good practical/DIY skills.
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar installation, maintenance or trade-based role.
- Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
