Non Stop Party Shop is an established family-run party shop with over 40 years of history. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team as a Party Shop Sales Assistant.
You'll be helping customers find the right products for their parties and celebrations, serving customers in-store and over the phone, and helping with the day-to-day running of the shop.
This is a varied role in a friendly and busy environment. No previous experience with balloons is required, as full training will be provided.
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Serving customers and using the till
- Helping customers choose party products and decorations
- Inflating helium balloons and preparing balloon orders
- Taking customer orders in-store and over the phone
- Providing prices and quotations to customers
- Entering and updating customer orders on our system
- Replenishing stock and keeping the shop tidy and well presented
- Helping with merchandising and displays
- Receiving deliveries and checking stock
- General day-to-day duties to help keep the shop running smoothly
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Reliable and well organised
- Happy working in a busy environment
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using a computer for basic order entry and administration
- Attentive to detail when dealing with customer orders
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential
