Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Train new team members on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within hospitality or similar environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with staff and guests.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety standards, and equipment operation.
- Valid driving license preferred for overseeing supply deliveries or property inspections.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Must be registered as self-employed and able to invoice weekly.
