We’re looking for a special individual to join us as a Deputy Manager, with opportunities to work across our other services as your role develops.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with salary currently under review in line with annual pay agreements. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll work hours that meet the needs of the service.
You’ll be based at our 6-bed respite care home in Longbenton, North Tyneside, supporting people with learning disabilities to enjoy safe, positive and meaningful stays.
Reporting to the Registered Manager and Operational Manager, you’ll help lead and support a team of up to 20 dedicated support workers, playing a key role in day-to-day management. You’ll also contribute to compliance and administrative tasks, helping to ensure the service runs smoothly and to a high standard.
A full, clean UK driving licence is desirable.
We’ll make sure you’re fully supported in your role, with extensive shadowing and training provided for the right candidate.
Could this be you?
Your experience will include:
· A relevant qualification in Care (Level 3 or above)
· At least 1 year of experience in managing a staff team
· The ability to support people with a wide range of differing needs
· Experience of working with a digital care system
