Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and commission arcade and amusement machines at client venues
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in arcade equipment
- Service and maintain coin mechanisms, card readers (e.g., Nayax systems), validators, change machines, and redemption units
- Perform preventative maintenance visits across contracted sites
- Troubleshoot wiring, power supplies, motors, sensors, PCBs and control boards
- Configure pulse systems and credit settings on machines
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring faults and implement permanent solutions
- Carry out basic fabrication or component replacement where required
- Support new site fit-outs and equipment upgrades
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain digital maintenance records
- Liaise professionally with site managers and report operational updates
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and company procedures
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in arcade, gaming, vending, or similar electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills (12v / 24v systems experience preferred)
- Confident working with coin mechs, card payment systems, and pulse configurations
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Practical mechanical repair experience (motors, belts, switches, sensors)
- Knowledge of programmable systems or control boards is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence required
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience working with/for an amusement machine operator.
