About the Team
You’ll be part of a specialist training team working closely with schools, education staff, and internal colleagues to promote high‑quality, evidence‑based practice. The team collaborates with school leaders, teachers, pastoral staff, and behaviour specialists to embed consistent, safe, and person‑centred approaches, with a shared focus on improving wellbeing, reducing distress, and supporting positive outcomes for pupils
About the Role
As a Studio 3 Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering Managing Signs of Distress training exclusively within school environments. Your work will focus on supporting education staff to implement the Managing Signs of Distress framework safely, consistently, and ethically, ensuring staff are confident in applying least‑restrictive, person‑centred approaches aligned with BILD and Restraint Reduction Network standards.
What You’ll Do

Delivering Studio 3 Low Arousal and Managing Signs of Distress training to school staff, including teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.

Supporting the implementation of the Managing Signs of Distress framework within schools, ensuring it is embedded consistently in daily classroom practice and wider school culture

Contributing to the design and continuous improvement of training materials and departmental products.
What We’re Looking For

Experience delivering training and facilitating group learning.

Up to date knowledge of autism practice, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), safeguarding, trauma-informed approaches, and best practice developments.

Ability to deliver Low Arousal and Managing Signs of Distress training across all school sites in line with organisational standards, the BILD Code of Practice and RRN requirements.

This is a permanent full-time position, at 35 hours per week.
