We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in childcare or early childhood education. Duties
- Manage daily activities and routines for children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive environment.
- Drive initiatives that promote the emotional and physical development of children.
- Implement educational activities that align with early childhood education principles.
- Supervise children during playtime and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain records of children's progress and communicate updates to parents as necessary.
- Lead by example, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and encouraging positive interactions among children.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desired.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate both children and staff members.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach.
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for child development and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
