Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner (Casual) to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our premises. The position offers casual employment, with the opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike. Hours available are Tuesday's 10.00am to 4.00pm, Wednesday's 4.00pm to 10.00pm and Sunday's 10.00am to 5.00pm (19 hours in total). Additional hours may be required to cover holidays for the rest of the team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
