Production Operative
Location: Chedburgh, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary: £27,000 annually
Hours: Full-Time - 39 hours per week (Mon – Thu 07:00-15:45 Fri 07:00-12:00)

About Us
We are a well-established, close-knit company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality, customer-specific sensors used across a wide range of industries and applications. Due to continued growth, we are looking to take on additional production staff to join our team in Chedburgh.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you'll be working on precise mechanical and electronic assemblies. Since most projects are tailored to individual customer needs, you'll regularly work on different types of components, keeping the job fresh and engaging.
We have two roles to offer.
The first is working in our fluid control department, a growing part of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling and testing float switches and bubble sensors
- Tig welding
- Maintaining quality standards
- Working within a small team to meet deadlines
- Working with computers, Spreadsheets to analyse data
- Maintaining a clean working environment
The second role is working in our cleanroom, where we produce our thin film sensors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and running equipment
- Maintaining quality standards
- Working with computers, Spreadsheets to analyse data
- General production work including fitting solder pads and flex circuits, wire bonding
- Following our cleanroom standards
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in production or similar preferred
- Strong attention to detail and steady hands
- Ability to follow technical documentation accurately
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and products
- Basic computer skills & Experience with spreadsheets is an advantage
- Good communication skills
