Accounts Senior – Penrith, Cumbria£35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith, Cumbria.
This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Accounts Semi Senior or Senior Accountant with previous UK accountancy practice experience and looking for a varied client portfolio.
The Role
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Completing Personal Tax returns
- Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Providing clients with accounting support and advice
- Assisting Managers and Partners with advisory and ad hoc assignments
The Person
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist or QBE
- Previous accountancy practice experience
- Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge
- Good communication and client management skills
- Keen to develop and progress within practice
