We've got a fantastic opportunity to join our Procurement team at SNG (Sovereign Network Group) as Senior Procurement Manager .
Based from either Basingstoke or Wembley , you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. To support close collaboration with the wider procurement team, there will be an expectation to be in the Basingstoke office on a weekly basis . At SNG, we provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across London, the South East, South West and East of England, as well as aiming to create thousands of new affordable homes every year.
Reporting into the Head of Strategic Sourcing, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team within Procurement. You'll be responsible for the approach and methodology for SNG's procurement activity, demonstrating where procurement can add measurable value and identifying solutions which support the delivery of SNG's corporate goals. This is a hands-on role, responsibilities include:
Supporting multiple complex procurement projects across all areas of spend within your key business areas, ensuring that the procurement team and its service offering is aligned to business needs , delivering optimal quality, financial and risk outcomes
You should have previous experience in a similar role within procurement, with significant experience in category management, including a track record in leading supplier engagement and sourcing activities to drive value for money.
