Bilingual Warehouse Robotics Support Engineer
Locations: Magna Park (LE17 4XH) and Pitstone (LU7)
Pay: £110–£115 per shift

About the role
Altay Tech Ltd is looking for bilingual Warehouse Robotics Support Engineers to provide on-site technical support for automated warehouse robotics systems.
You will be responsible for responding to system faults, carrying out basic repairs on warehouse robots and communicating with the on-site customer.
This role requires both Chinese and English, as you will need to coordinate with Chinese-speaking technical teams and English-speaking site personnel.
Main responsibilities
- Respond to faults and alerts within the warehouse robotics system
- Carry out basic troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on warehouse robots
- Communicate with the on-site customer regarding faults, repairs and operational updates
- Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant support team
- Coordinate with Chinese-speaking engineers and technical support teams
- Record faults, repairs and actions taken
- Follow all warehouse health and safety requirements
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude when dealing with customers
Shift patterns
Employees can normally be scheduled for 5 shifts per week, depending on availability and operational requirements.
Day shift
- 13:00–21:00 (To be determined)
- Includes a one-hour unpaid break
- £110 gross per shift
Night shift
- 5:00–13:00 & 21:00–5:00 (To be determined)
- Includes a one-hour unpaid break
- £115 gross per shift
Additional shifts may be available depending on business requirements.
Requirements
- Able to communicate effectively in both Chinese and English
- Previous experience or a relevant background in robotics, automation, engineering, maintenance, electrical work, mechanical work, IT support or a similar technical field
- Comfortable using a laptop and technical software
- Able to follow technical instructions and troubleshooting procedures
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Must have the right to work in the UK
