The Role
As Lead Practitioner of Mathematics, you will:
- Model outstanding Mathematics teaching and learning across Key Stages 3–5.
- Support and develop teaching staff through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
- Work closely with department leaders to raise standards of attainment and progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
- Support Early Career Teachers and colleagues to achieve their full potential.
- Help create a culture of high expectations and academic excellence.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has a proven track record of outstanding Mathematics teaching.
- Has experience leading, coaching, or mentoring colleagues.
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for all students.
- Can inspire both students and staff through excellent subject knowledge and leadership.
- Has high expectations, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to excellence.
- Holds QTS and relevant teaching qualifications.
