Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for Warehouse Administrators to join our team in West Hallam (DE7 6HE), supporting our customer, Motus. In this role, you will assist and support the Management Team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational objectives for the site.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a rotating shift, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ pattern, between 06:00 and 22:00. You will work 7.5 hours per day, with shift times allocated in line with operational requirements.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Responsible for carrying out a wide range of administrative duties to support the efficient day-to-day running of the contract and ensure operational processes are completed accurately and on time
- Overseeing order system – release and despatch orders on the system
- Coordinate and book deliveries, arrange transport, and manage customer communications via telephone and email to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods
- Perform warehouse administration duties, prepare documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments, and communicate effectively with internal teams, hauliers, and customers to support the smooth running of warehouse operations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and maintain high standards when working alone
- Flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to work overtime when required
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP systems would be advantageous
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
