We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a new valuable team members in our Housekeeping role based in Tilsley House Care Home, Weston-Super-Mare.
Thinking of expanding your current skill set or looking to gain some experience in the social care sector. This is the chance to get the ball rolling today. Experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided and a thorough induction process before you start working on the floor with the team.
Solomon Care aspire to build cathedrals of care where the residential homes can stand tall in the community. Solomon Care has been established for over 10 years with Tilsley House, since then we have expanded by acquiring Earlfield Lodge Care Home in 2021.
Solomon Care are currently looking to recruit a team that has passion for social care, wanting to make a difference and above all be a support for our wonderful residents we have living in our home. We are a residential and dementia care home so any experience with Dementia will be beneficial.
Some aspects of what we expect from a Cleaner...
- To clean all areas of the Care Home in accordance with the infection control measures.
- Replenist stock and toiletries when required.
- Ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment for our residents, staff and visitors.
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are maintained and any health and safety hazards are reported.
- Carry out such duties with due regard to fire and accident prevention.
- On weekends to complete the laundry duties.
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract Hours: We are looking for a part time candidate to cover around 16.5 hours on average per week. Hours and days to be discussed during an interview if shortlisted. This will include every other weekend.

The home is running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we are looking for a candidate who will be able to work alternate weekends.
