Location: Telford, you will require to drive.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours:
Thursday, Friday and Monday, 10am - 6pm.
Saturday and Sunday 6am - 2pm.
One day work from home available.
Pay Rate: £29,526 per annum.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Administrator to join our team and keep our daily operations running smoothly. This vital role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and supporting various departments to ensure an efficient workplace environment. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents, records, and correspondence to ensure quick retrieval and compliance.
- Support accounting processes by assisting with invoicing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping activities.
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings, appointments, and office events to optimize team productivity.
- Handle general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and inventory management of office supplies.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing necessary documentation and setting up workstations.
Skills
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to interact confidently with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Accurate typing skills combined with keen attention to detail for data entry and document preparation.
- Previous clerical experience demonstrating reliability and efficiency in office settings.
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices and familiarity with data management tools is a plus.
