Make a Difference in a Leading Hospital
We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Domestic Assistant Manager to support the delivery of outstanding domestic services at Springfield Hospital, one of London's leading healthcare facilities.
Working with Medirest (Compass Group), you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your leadership will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, compliance, and service excellence across the hospital.
What You'll Do

Support the day-to-day delivery of high-quality domestic services across patient and non-patient areas

Ensure compliance with cleaning standards, infection prevention protocols, and Health & Safety regulations

Lead, motivate, and develop supervisors and domestic teams to achieve operational excellence

Assist with audits, inspections, quality monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives

Support workforce planning, rota management, and resource deployment

Maintain strong working relationships with hospital teams and key stakeholders

Monitor service performance against KPIs and implement improvements where required

Promote a positive, patient-focused culture across the domestic services team
What We're Looking For

Experience within domestic services, soft FM, healthcare, or a similar operational environment

Previous experience supervising or managing teams

Strong understanding of compliance, health and safety, and service standards

Excellent communication and people management skills

Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Experience with audits, rotas, workforce planning, or quality assurance processes is desirable
