An exciting opportunity to join our Front of House team at Darlington Hippodrome as a Front of House Assistant. The role is a casual contract with working hours mainly evenings and weekends, due to these being the key operational hours of our venue. Applicants must have a flexible approach to working arrangements, provide good, varied availability to work to the needs of the business.
The successful candidates will ideally have experience in customer service, enjoy working in a customer facing role and a love for the Theatre and Arts. The role works across our cafe's,our busy bars and front of house scanning tickets; working in the auditorium selling programmes and ice cream at the interval, also observing the audience to ensure our customers comfort and safety.
We are looking for individuals who can deliver service with a smile, ensure customers receive first class service, have a good product knowledge, comfortable using an electronic point of sale and ensure all our audiences feel welcomed and valued.
Candidates must be over 18 as there is a requirement to serve alcohol to customers.
