RH Fibreboard Containers Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Thornbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and develop your skills within the packaging industry, with the potential to progress into a Machine Operator role.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am to 4:00pm
- Friday: Day off every week
About the Role
As a Production Operative, you will support the production team in the manufacture of corrugated packaging products, helping to ensure customer orders are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting machine operators with production runs and machine set-up
- Handling, feeding, stacking and preparing materials and finished products
- Packing, palletising and labelling products to customer requirements
- Carrying out basic quality checks and reporting defects
- Following standard operating procedures and safe working practices
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Working collaboratively to achieve production targets and customer deadlines
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- Quality-focused with good attention to detail
- A positive team player with good communication skills
Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse or packaging experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
