About Us
Field Services Recovery is a well-established, family-run vehicle recovery and roadside assistance company operating across the South West. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Roadside Technician to join our Plymouth depot.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll attend roadside breakdowns in a service van, assist customers at the roadside, safely and professionally.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending roadside breakdowns in a service van.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults at the roadside where possible.
- Carrying out battery replacements, jump starts, diagnostics and other roadside assistance.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining company equipment.
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Field Services Recovery in a professional manner.
- Participating in an on-call rota and undertaking overtime when required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good mechanical knowledge and practical fault-finding ability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
Desirable Skills
- Previous roadside assistance experience is preferred.
- Experience working on cars, vans or commercial vehicles.
