Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals across various nursing homes. The role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Prior experience in promoting positive behaviour is highly valued. Certifications
- Mandatory Care Certificates
- Moving & Handling (Physical training)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute training)
Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including behaviour management
- Relevant skills such as caregiving, medication administration, behaviour management, and first aid certification
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Valid driving licence for transportation duties (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if required
- Right-to-work in the United Kingdom
