Job Opportunity – Counter Staff / Trainee Baker
Location: Carrickfergus
Full-time and part-time positions available
We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking people to join our team in our bake house.
This role is mainly customer-facing, working on the counter, serving customers and helping create a welcoming atmosphere in the shop. The successful candidate will also be trained in baking.
Baking experience is not essential, but previous experience as barista anda positive attitude and willingness to learn are very important.
The role will include:
Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
Helping build good relationships with regular customers
Preparing and serving food, coffee and drinks
Learning basic baking skills as part of the role
Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-presented, washing kitchen utensil
Cleaning up after yourself and maintaining high standards throughout the shift
Supporting the team with day-to-day shop duties
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, bubbly and confident with customers
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Self-motivated and able to use their own initiative
Willing to learn and take direction
Flexible with working hours
Comfortable working some day shifts from 8am and some evening shifts until 5pm.
Working weekends
Different shift patterns are available, with both full-time and part-time positions to suit the right candidates.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred
