Bydd deiliad y swydd yn sicrhau bod y sefydliad yn cyflawni ei rwymedigaethau cyfreithiol trwy gyfrwng trefniadau rheoli cydymffurfedd effeithiol, polisïau a gweithdrefnau cadarn, gweithgarwch cadw cofnodion cynhwysfawr a gweithredu systemau sy’n cynnig sicrwydd i’r Bwrdd, uwch-reolwyr a chyrff rheoliadol. Bydd yn gweithio ar draws ystad amrywiol yr Ardd, gan gynnwys yr atyniadau i ymwelwyr, gweithrediadau garddwriaethol, labordai, casgliadau planhigion, arlwyo, manwerthu, swyddfeydd, gweithdai, ystadau, y tirlun a digwyddiadau. Bydd y rôl yn cydlynu archwiliadau statudol, yn monitro cydymffurfedd, yn cadw cofnodion manwl ac yn cynorthwyo rheolwyr i weithredu arferion gwaith diogel. The Health & Safety & Compliance Officer is responsible for leading the day-to-day management of health, safety and statutory compliance across the National Botanic Garden of Wales. The postholder will ensure that the organisation meets its legal obligations through effective compliance management, robust policies and procedures, comprehensive record keeping and the implementation of systems that provide assurance to the Board, senior management and regulatory bodies. Working across the Garden's diverse estate including visitor attractions, horticultural operations, laboratories, plant collections, catering, retail, offices, workshops, estates, landscape and events. The role will coordinate statutory inspections, monitor compliance, maintain accurate records and support managers in implementing safe working practices. A key focus of the role is ensuring that regulatory checks, inspections, servicing, testing, certifications, risk assessments and statutory documentation are completed on time, accurately recorded and readily available for audit and inspection.
