Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (P A) to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care facilities. In this role, you will assist clients with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their comfort and safety. Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility to promote their independence and dignity
- Support clients with daily routines such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household tasks
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding care progress and concerns
- Use IT tools to update care records, document activities, and track client progress accurately
- Drive clients safely to appointments or errands when required, ensuring adherence to road safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of care plans, personal care routines, and health & safety protocols
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for transportation duties
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen empathetically and respond appropriately
- Basic IT literacy for documentation purposes
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and guidelines

Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
