Now Hiring: Learning Support Assistants
(Also known as: The Glue That Holds the School Day Together)
Are you great with kids, patient like a saint, and able to locate a missing glue stick in under 10 seconds? Then you might just be the perfect fit for our friendly primary school team!
We’re on the lookout for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to help our brilliant pupils thrive — academically, socially, and sometimes emotionally (especially when someone drops their snack). Whether you’re experienced or just passionate about helping children, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing (Other Than Untangling Headphones)
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups across a variety of lessons
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Working closely with class teachers to make learning fun, accessible and meaningful
- Joining in with everything from phonics to forest school – and maybe even a conga line on the last day of term
What’s In It For You?
- Training and development – grow your skills while making a real difference
- Work-life balance – term-time only means your holidays match the school calendar
- Early finishes – goodbye to late nights and weekend shifts
- A welcoming team – where no question is silly and everyone’s got each other's back
- The little things – free tea, occasional biscuits, and lots of smiles
- Oh, and glitter. Lots of glitter.
What We’re Looking For
- Kind, reliable, and enthusiastic people who genuinely enjoy working with children
- Someone who can stay calm when there are 6 different conversations happening at once
- A team player who doesn’t mind singing the days of the week song (daily)
- Previous experience is great but not essential – if you’ve got the attitude, we’ll teach the skills!
Working hours: Up to 30 hours per week (we’re open to part-time too)
School hours: Around 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start date: As soon as we meet someone lovely — like you!
If you're looking for a job that's rewarding, full of variety, and includes frequent high-fives from small humans, hit that apply button.
We can’t wait to meet you (and neither can the kids).
Pay starts at £104 per day and increases with experience. All trials are paid so you can gain insight into the role before committing.
