Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice HGV Technician to join our Warrington workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career within the commercial vehicle industry. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training from experienced technicians while working towards a recognised Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Learning diagnostic and fault-finding techniques
- Supporting experienced technicians in workshop operations
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- Attending college and completing apprenticeship coursework as required
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in trucks, vehicles or mechanics
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking and motivated
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred
- Ability to work well as part of a team
