Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining food safety standards, and managing all aspects of bar operations to deliver a seamless and enjoyable environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings, along with culinary knowledge and team management skills, are essential for success in this position.
Duties:
· Oversee the day-to-day Bar & Facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
· Adress and resolve any customer complaints, reviewing such incidents with Owners / directors periodically.
· Bar supervision / serving
· Staff recruitment / Training and operating a positive work environment, whilst ensuring staff are trained to give excellent customer service.
· Stock control / Stock ordering / monitoring of wastage.
· Delivery / contractor point of contact.
· Housekeeping: (Monitoring cleaning standard, Training staff in ensuring the bar is kept clean, outside areas, glass collection & ash tray cleaning is completed regularly.
· Assist Management with Rota.
· Staff appraisals / disciplinaries
· Enforce Customer sanctions as and when required, within management approval/policy.
· Diary monitoring – Kitchen / events / entertainment.
· Room set up – Lunches / events / entertainment.
· Ensuring the bar and facilities are to a high H&S standard and reporting any concerns within a quick time frame to Owners / Directors.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
