Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced female brain injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a 9 year old girl with a Brain Injury, hearing impairment, administering meds, PEG feeding requirements, and epilepsy. We are looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who can provide high-quality care and adapt to her specific needs.
Our client lives in Ware, and you will be working on 1:1 basis. The role will focus on providing personalised support during the night. Stay awake throughout the night and provide regular check-ins through the night. Our client is looking for someone calm, caring, reliable and confident.
Due to the client’s needs, we are seeking a calm, caring, reliable, and confident female support worker who is able to drive and has access to their own vehicle. Our client has got a WAV and you will need to drive the client – therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
Hours:
Every Saturday Waking night shift - 20:00 - 8:00.
Pay:
Saturday - £ 18.50 p/h.
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
- Assist service users attend health activities.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
- The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
