Wheeled Excavator / Material Handler Driver

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Wheeled Excavator / Material Handler Driver to join our growing waste recycling operation. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a hardworking team committed to efficient recycling and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate wheeled excavators and material handlers safely and efficiently.
- Load, sort, move and process a variety of waste and recyclable materials.
- Feed waste processing equipment, including , screens and picking lines.
- Load and unload HGV, trailers.
- Carry out daily machine inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organised and free from hazards.
- Report equipment faults and operational issues promptly.
- Work closely with site supervisors and colleagues to maximise productivity.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating wheeled excavators or material handlers in a recycling, waste management environment.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator qualification (preferred).
- Good understanding of safe lifting and material handling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
- Flexible approach to working hours when required.
Desirable Skills
- Experience operating selector grabs.
- Loading shovel or telehandler experience.
- Knowledge of waste recycling processes.
- Plant maintenance experience.

Hours
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, Saturdays 7am to 1pm .
