Position Overview:
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0 to 5 years in our day nursery. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play and exploration. Your primary responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and educational programs at the nursery.
- Lead and support a team of dedicated educators.
- Create a safe and enriching learning environment for children.
- Ensure the overall success and growth of the nursery.
Qualifications:
- A PGCE in Education.
- A Degree in Primary education or Early years.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
- Experience working with children aged 0 to 5 years in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based at our premises in Filton, Bristol, working Monday to Friday during nursery opening hours. Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and provide satisfactory references prior to employment.
