Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer or Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dedicated legal team. In this role, you will manage the full spectrum of residential property transactions, guiding clients through the conveyancing process with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your expertise will ensure smooth, efficient property transfers while providing exceptional client service. Duties
- Handle all aspects of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Conduct thorough title investigations, prepare and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage deeds
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions
- Manage case files diligently, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is accurate and complete
- Provide clear and proactive communication to clients regarding progress and legal requirements throughout the conveyancing process
- Use IT systems efficiently to record case details, track progress, and maintain organized case management records
- Prioritize workload effectively to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with relevant experience of minimum one year in residential conveyancing
- Strong communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly and build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines consistently
- Proficiency in IT tools such as case management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant legal technology
- Exceptional time management skills to handle a busy caseload without compromising quality or client service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
