Responsibilities
- Support dental practitioners during patient examinations and procedures with professionalism and care
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use
- Assist with patient care by providing comfort, explaining procedures, and managing patient records accurately
- Maintain high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient information, and handling correspondence
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for patients and staff
- Develop your knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication through on-the-job training and study
Experience
- No prior dental experience required; enthusiasm for healthcare and learning is essential
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic health records and scheduling systems
