Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to become part of our growing operational team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide variety of commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare and public sector properties, delivering both planned and reactive works.
The successful candidate will enjoy a diverse workload, ranging from maintenance and repairs through to refurbishment and improvement projects. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Main Duties
- Carry out high-quality joinery and general building works across multiple sites.
- Complete planned maintenance, reactive repairs and refurbishment projects.
- Install, repair and maintain fixtures, fittings, doors, frames, flooring and other joinery elements.
- Support project delivery teams with site-based construction activities.
- Attend site inspections and assist with surveying and scoping works.
- Ensure materials, equipment and work areas are organised and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with customers, site contacts and colleagues.
- Complete job sheets, photographs and digital reports accurately.
- Identify opportunities for additional repair or improvement works.
- Work safely and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment to a professional standard.
Skills & Experience
The ideal applicant will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' practical joinery experience.
- Proven experience working within a multi-skilled maintenance or construction environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- The ability to manage workloads independently.
- Professional customer-facing communication skills.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- CSCS Card
- SSSTS Qualification
- First Aid at Work
- Additional trade qualifications
