Role Purpose
To assist in the excellent customer service delivery and experience of the Canteen, promoting the food offering, whilst complying with relevant food safety and hygiene standards.
Role Requirements

Efficiently and pleasantly take customer orders.

Provide guidance and recommendations on products (how to cook, type of cuts etc).

Process orders through till correctly.

Complete general cleaning of the kitchen.
- Restock service and pre-prepared counters with products as required.

Undertake stock checks and rotations as required.

Complete opening and closing procedures of the canteen.

Complete and maintain hygiene standards and processes for service counters and food preparation areas.

Undertake food preparation duties as required.
-
Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures.

Prepare food to required standards checking for taste, presentation, and quality.

Maintain relevant hygiene and food safety records.

Minimize product wastage.

Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am-2:30pm
