Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a dedicated care facility. This vital role involves ensuring the highest standards of patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, extensive experience in senior and assisted living care, and a passion for enhancing quality of life for diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, dementia, and those requiring hospice or ICU-level care. As a Registered Manager, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence, team management, and delivering exceptional care services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the care facility’s operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies.
- Supervise and support multidisciplinary teams including nurses, caregivers, therapists, and administrative staff to promote teamwork and professional development.
- Oversee patient care plans, medication administration, and medical procedures such as laboratory testing and medical imaging to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement policies for dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice services, and specialized support for individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs.
- Coordinate case management activities to tailor individualized care plans that promote independence while addressing medical and emotional needs.
- Monitor facility performance through audits, resident feedback, incident reports, and quality assurance measures; implement improvements proactively.
- Foster a warm, engaging environment that encourages resident well-being, family involvement, and staff satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong background in senior care environments.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care practices including Alzheimer’s disease management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or social services settings.
- Familiarity with home care services, hospice programs, ICU procedures, laboratory processes, medical imaging techniques, and medication administration protocols.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable to support diverse resident needs.
- Strong understanding of anatomy related to patient care procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of patient safety and staff performance.
